Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge have confirmed that they have decided to sell Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester United. Schweinsteiger has one year remaining on his current deal. The 30 year old wants new challenge in his career and Manchester United would be a perfect place for him.
Bayern CEO Rummenigge said in press conference “My colleagues at Manchester United have been in touch. We’ve reached an agreement over a transfer, “We regret to sell him because Bastian meant a great deal to the club. He achieved great things.”
Manchester United are certainly on a roll as this was there third successful signing. Bastian Schweinsteiger would bring a handy experience to United in midfield and they are ready to challenge for title this year.
Schweinsteiger will receive a good pay rise which will be £180,000 per week.
