Liverpool Boss Brendan Rodgers was asked many questions regarding Raheem Sterling after his controversial interview on Wednesday, Sterling admitted in his recent interview that he has rejected 100000 week deal, On the other hand Sterling was also linked with a move to either Arsenal or Manchester City although his contract at Anfield stays till 2017.
Brendan Rodgers made it clear in press conference that Sterling is going no where and he added “There was no permission (for the interview) from us. He will learn we all make mistakes in life, especially when you are young.”
Rodger Further said “If his ambition is to win trophies, that’s perfectly aligned with what we are trying to do here. Arsenal is a fantastic club but this is Liverpool and it’s an honor to him to play here for these great supporters and he understands that and sees that.
Rodgers On Sterling’s Career at Liverpool “I think what he’s saying overall is that he’s got two-and-a-half years left on his contract, he is quite relaxed as much as i am, about the situation and between now and the end of the season he just wants to really focus on that.
Rodgers also insist that he has every opportunity to become a great player at Liverpool.
