Manchester United Chairman Ed Woodward Demands At Least 3rd Spot In Premier League 14/15

The Executive Vice Chairman Ed Woodward has built pressure on Louis Van Gaal to claim atleast a 3rd spot in Barclays Premier League this season, Manchester United has spend over £150 million this summer as they have signed the following players ( Di Maria, Falcao, Luke Shaw, Daley Blind Herrera and Marcos Rojo). Ed Woodward stated that Manchester united will loss 10% of its revenue due to not participating in Champions League.

Ed Woodward has also allowed Van Gaal to spend further in Mid transfer season, He stated that we will look how things will shape up and incase of weaknesses in the squad we would definitely spend more in mid transfer but the important thing is the pressure has placed on Van Gaal which is finishing in top 3, So it is a huge challenge for Van Gaal to gel together his new signings and then perform reasonably well to climb up to top 3 in Premier League.

Further Ed Woodward also praises Van Gaals for his new signings and expects him to perform better with this squad, Ed Woodward said its a new beginning for Manchester United, Manchester United also faces a £50 million pay cut by Adidas due to not qualifying in champions league 14/15.
