Reald Madrid Vs Atletico Madrid Champions League Previews, Team News

Benzema, Bale injured

Real Madrid faces a stiff task when they will walk into Bernabeu to clinch a spot in the Semi finals of Uefa Champions League 2014/15 against Atletico Madrid. The real concern is injuries attached with Real Madrid ahead of Madrid Derby. Benzema, Gareth Bale and Modric are ruled out of this fixture due to injuries which might bring Ancelotti into some pressure.

Real Madrid secured 0-0 away draw against Atletico Madrid in the first leg as Jan Obalak provided superb saves to give Atletico a real chance in the second leg. Further Ancelotti are now unbeaten against Real Madrid for the 7th consecutive time and they won’t mind it to turn this into eight unbeaten games.

Marcelo is also suspended for the second leg but Carlo Ancelotti and other players are motivated and confident of winning this fixture as they have faced some injuries in the past as well.

Toni Kroos said ahead of the fixture “Everybody knows Atletico, They have been very successful against us in recent matches. Our objective is to qualify for the semi finals. We have to dominate the midfield and we will create chances if we manage to do so.”

Kroos further said “We are very motivated. We had a good result in the first leg. Atletico have been difficult opponents for us but tomorrow we have the chance to beat them. Winning will be beautiful for us.

James Rodriguez told to Real Madrid’s official website “We have to show intensity, be completely focused, play well, we must all stick together. I think that if we do that we’ll come away with an excellent result.”

Javier Hernandez will replace injured Benzema. We are looking forward to a great football match. What are your predictions?
